Studies and Awards
In 2004 a study by the EEC (Earth Engineering Center) of Columbia University confirmed the full applicability of of Pirelli Ambiente's HQ-SRF (SRF-P) in the USA.
A study conducted in 2005 by the IEFE (Institute of Economy of Energy Sources) of the Bocconi University in Milan established SRF-P as the most economical source of renewable energy on the market.

In September 2006 the Clinton Global Initiative, a foundation commissioned by William J. Clinton, former US President, to mobilise resources to resolve global problems, accepted the commitment of Pirelli Ambiente within the "climatic changes" area. The objective of of Pirelli Ambiente's commitment is to reduce, through the diffusion of energy recover from waste technology, CO
2 emissions by 5 million tonnes in 3-5 years in North America, Europe and Asia.
